Hot Air Balloon Festival

I attended the annual New Jersey Festival of Ballooning in July, 2015. The entire day was fantastic and exceeded all my expectations. The weather that day was nothing less than perfect. It was a beautiful clear sky with barely a few wisps of clouds. Best of all, there was zero wind. When the balloons lifted off they went straight up and just stayed there. It was a photographer’s dream. I used a circular polarizing filter to reduce glare and it gave me beautiful blue skies and vivid colors.

I didn’t go up in a balloon that day, but I did take a helicopter ride. I hope you enjoy my photos from this memorable day. BD
